Storytell MVP Update: Improved User Experience with Homepage Updates, Bug Fixes, and More

Hey Alpha Testers, here are the latest updates and improvements we've shipped out. These enhancements lay the groundwork for a more intuitive, reliable, and powerful user experience.

Frontend Updates

• Homepage sign-up button: Signing up for Storytell is now just a click away with the addition of a prominent sign-up button on the homepage.
• Drag-and-Drop to upload files: We squashed a pesky bug that was preventing some users from dragging and dropping files.
• Prompt input box controls: You can now press on the escape key on your device to quickly focus out of the prompt input field.
• Fixed dark mode: We've resolved an issue where the background gradient was obscuring content in dark mode.

Backend and System Updates

• Threads are now automatically named: Storytell now intelligently generates meaningful names for your threads. While these won't be visible to users for now, they will come in handy in the future!
• Uploads show processing status: Wondering about the status of your uploads? We've added clear processing status indicators so you're always in the loop.
• Prompt bar connecting indicator: To provide a smoother prompt experience, we've introduced a connecting indicator in the prompt bar. You'll know exactly when Storytell is ready to field your requests.
• Assets are now summarized and keywords are generated: To power upcoming features like search and content recommendations, we now automatically generate summaries and extract keywords from your uploaded assets. This lays the groundwork for some exciting capabilities down the line.

Bonus: Tree Control

We couldn't resist giving you a sneak peek of a major feature in the works - tree control for your content library. This will provide a highly visual and intuitive way to organize and navigate your threads and knowledge assets.

The updates covered here open the door to a host of exciting future possibilities.
